    Job Brief:
    We ’ re looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Front End Development Manager with 4+ years experience development consumer facing products and managing front end development teams. You will be responsible for developing and enforcing standards and best practices for front end engineering. Desired skills include good working frontend development experience utilizing HTML(5), JavaScript, CSS, JQuery and use of modern frontend development tools and frameworks such as NodeJS, NPM, Gulp, SASS/LESS, Angular, React.js, etc.

    This position reports into Senior FEE Director of ACTIVE, and is responsible for the delivery of FEE ’ s output across multiple products. The manager is responsible for managing the resources and supervising the outputs of his engineers to ensure product qualities. S/he will drive the execution by team members in order to meet deadlines and project targets to achieve a successful implementation of features and functionalities.

    Responsibilities:
    • Help design and build great products leveraging the best tools and technologies in modern front end development.
    • Lead and development a team of highly skills front end professionals.
    • Serves as the primary point of contact with respective back-end teams
    • Works closely with back-end managers and QA to provide day-to-day assistance for a smooth product development experience
    • Manages team assignments and ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
    • Update team progress and difficulties to FEE Director at weekly basis
    • Provides advice, consultation, and training to the team members based on industry best practices.
    • Coordinate with Product Manager and Business Analysts to ensure the initiation of business process transformation based on previous analysis
    • Conduct interviews frequently in order to meet the demand of high growth in FEE team
    • Receive and ramp up new members in the team by working with HR, IT, and NA managers
    • Prepare and conduct yearly performance review for team members in the team
    • Have Fun!

    Qualifications/Requirements
    • Demonstrable product development and project management methodologies and tools
    • Minimal 4 years experience managing the full life cycle development of custom applications including the design, development, testing, delivery and support
    • Minimal 5 years experience as a technical lead having specifically managed teams on complex software development or integration projects
    • Minimal of 8 years of working experience in IT industry
    • Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Detail-oriented and Creative
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and be self-starter
    • Thrive on change and challenge
    • Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent College Diploma
